Young People Psychology
Connection with family, friends and the local community are key to positive well-being in young people.
Megan Henderson Psychology offers supportive and tailored interventions for young people facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, friendship concerns, adjustment difficulties, and social anxiety. We focus on helping children and adolescents navigate these issues while enhancing their emotional resilience and coping skills. Megan is committed to working with families where there is a shared motivation to improve communication and strengthen relationships during challenging times.
However, due to her part-time availability, Megan is unable to provide intensive support for high-needs cases, including substance abuse, self-harm, or suicidal thoughts. These situations often require more extensive, ongoing care. Additionally, Megan does not specialise in complex family dynamics, including high-conflict situations. For such needs, services like Interrelate in Port Macquarie (1300 473 528) may be more appropriate to access. Megan prefers to collaborate with families who are engaged and committed to supporting their child’s development and well-being.
