Megan is passionate about helping children embrace their differences, learn to be their own best friend and to dream big about their futures.
Typically, Megan will initially meet with parents and/or caregivers to discuss your concerns and the needs of your family. Megan will offer honest feedback about a treatment plan and practical strategies for parents before commencing treatment with your child.
As the research shows that children’s response to therapy is largely influenced by parents willingness to be actively involved in the treatment process, Megan asks that both parents/care givers make availability to attend an initial appointment. Parents can arrange separate appointments if needed.
Sessions with children offer fun tools to bolster resilience and parents are expected to actively attend part of the appointments to learn about these fun strategies to be reinforced at home.
Megan enjoys working with children to identify their strengths and bolster their sense of confidence to cope with life’s challenges.
Megan encourages families to work together to solve problems and reminds parents of the power of love, connection and making lasting memories together.
